Mandai Wildlife Reserve, home to 1000 animal species, invented a first-of-its-kind binoculars designed for kids to see the natural world in a whole new gamified way. The Ranger Buddies programme is a unique edutainment adventure that empowers kids to become proactive global citizens, ready to make a positive impact on the world. Through engaging games, exciting quest missions, and exploration of new outposts, children will dive deep into the fascinating realms of animal health, care, and nutrition.

These binoculars dock at stations along the trail, unlocking missions, interactive games, and fascinating animal facts. With real working lenses and a built-in screen, they offer a fun, hands-on way for kids to explore, learn about wildlife, and discover the importance of caring for the planet and sustainability.
Through 25 months of research and development from design to manufacturing to bring together a park-wide gaming experience with scientifically accurate content for both kids and parents to enjoy. This gamification elevated the experience into thousands of personal adventures connecting children with wildlife and their digital counterparts. Our quest continues beyond our parks to bring conservation education into every classroom. Inspiring a new generation of nature and wildlife conservationists.
