A front window transformed into a dynamic, immersive AR beehive that educates viewers about bees and their critical role in our ecosystem.
What happens when mesmerising front windows and AR meet? Hive Drive is a location-based AR experience that lets people explore a virtual beehive inside an office. For this trick and treat, we created a four-panel poster completely covering the three-meter-high windows. Passersby can see and explore the hive behind the window through a bespoke app.
The experience is guided by the animated bee, Buzz Aldrone, who cheerfully provides explorers with fun-filled facts about the bee community.
And there’s a lot to discover, as each type of worker bee has its own interaction and story to explore. MediaMonks crafted the complete experience from concept to content as an educational experiment.
